Join Analog Connection for a refreshing early-summer hike through one of Zurich’s most beautiful nearby nature areas — a route that proves you don’t need to travel deep into the Alps to feel far away from everyday life.

This guided walk takes us from Forch to Meilen along the scenic Pfannenstiel ridge: through forests, open countryside, lookout points, and charming small hamlets, with changing landscapes and plenty of opportunities for easy conversation along the way.

We’ll begin in the quiet greenery above Zurich and gradually make our way toward Hochwacht, where those who wish can climb the observation tower for sweeping panoramic views across the region. Along the route, we’ll pass woodland paths, rural clearings, and later descend through the beautiful Meilen Dorfbach gorge, where streams, waterfalls, and shaded forest paths create a peaceful final stretch.
