We all have a book like that somewhere. The one you picked up at the right moment — during a move, a career shift, a loss, a period of quiet reinvention. The one that gave you something you didn't know you needed.

This evening is built around exactly those books.

Bring one. It can be fiction or non-fiction, brand new or years old, literary or completely unexpected. The only condition is that it meant something to you at a particular moment in your life. We'll go around the table, share a little of the backstory when the book found us — and what it gave us.

No reading in advance. No literary credentials required.
